Emerald - the brilliant stone

In the seventeenth century Shakespeare referred to the emerald's power to soothe the eyes:

"The deep green Emerald, in whose fresh regard weak sights their sickly radiance do amend".

In 1584 Ivan the Terrible believed that the being of the emerald is from nature, from the rainbow and is the enemy of impurity.

In Judaism, it is said that snakes who looked at her lost their sight.

It is one of the stones of the breastplate, of the High Priest, it is called the Barakat Stone, associated with the tribe of Levi, the tribe of the priests.

It is said that they believed that nothing in nature could take away from her brilliance.

In the seventh century it is said that the bishop of Seville (Spain), Isidore said that the emerald illuminated the whole city.

It is also said that the Incas worshiped her. The Inca king wore a crown with 453 emeralds weighing 1,523 carats.

She is mentioned so much throughout history, even among the Greeks, it is said that they dedicated her to the goddess Venus in the belief that she has the power to maintain marriage, continuity and loyalty.

Throughout history it was believed that it heals and calms the eyes, helps to see the passage, therefore some drivers put it under the pillow and sleep with it in order to receive messages and visions.

It was believed that it prevents epilepsy and calms the soul, guarantees a quick recovery after an illness, helps remove toxins from the liver, physically heals the heart, some treated diabetes with emerald by placing it on the pancreas area, some used to make an elixir from it to clean the system the blood

The emerald symbolizes immortality and rebirth, it inspires, helps to go through changes and challenges with patience and calmness.

Strengthens relationships while maintaining harmony and sharing.

Balances all bodies including the physical body. Encourages metaphysical abilities, opens high vision, to see the transition to the physical world.

Resonates to the heart chakra and the third eye chakra.

Highly recommended for meditation practice, breathing practice, helps calm the brain waves, enter a meditative state and maintain a correct breathing rate.

It helps to work with the subconscious in order to receive messages.

Considered a stone that opens the doors of abundance, a stone of good luck.
